Start with fidelity
Did the cohort happen as designed? Attendance, module completion, participant artifacts, referral protocol, and facilitator reporting matter.
Measure proximal change
Track the skills and behaviors EMERGE 8 directly addresses: recognition, interruption confidence, support mapping, action planning, and referral engagement.
Do not overclaim
Pilot reporting should separate observed program outputs from longer-term outcomes that require additional follow-up or clinical research.
