COMMUNITY RECOVERY EDUCATION • 8 WEEKS • ACTION-PLANNING MODEL
Program Disclaimer

EMERGE 8 is deliberately bounded as recovery education and support.

Clear scope protects participants, facilitators, partners, and the integrity of the program.

Core boundary: EMERGE 8 Recovery is designed as recovery education, peer support, action planning, and referral navigation. It is not independently presented as medical care, detoxification, diagnosis, psychotherapy, substance-use treatment, or a substitute for appropriately licensed services.

When needs exceed program scope

Partner sites and facilitators should use established referral and escalation protocols when a participant may need medical evaluation, licensed substance-use treatment, mental-health care, crisis intervention, safety services, or another higher level of care.

Facilitator titles

Program titles such as EMERGE 8 Approved Facilitator, Lead Facilitator, Licensed Partner Site, or Trainer-of-Trainers refer only to authorization within the EMERGE 8 program model. They do not create or imply a government-issued clinical credential.

Outcomes

EMERGE 8 should not promise sobriety or clinical outcomes. Public reporting should distinguish program outputs and pilot measures from longer-term outcomes that require additional follow-up and evaluation.

Emergency situations

EMERGE 8 is not an emergency response service. When immediate safety or medical action is required, participants and staff should use the appropriate local emergency or licensed service rather than waiting for a program response.
